This is a thread dedicated to one hundred percent orchestra. You dig dudes in powdered wigs who played piano until they were poisoned to death? Sweet. You like large rooms filled with people playing instruments at various times together to produce sounds? Awesome, bro. How about music that originally was not arranged for orchestra, and then made super pretty by people who arrange it for orchestra, virutally or even physically? This thread is for you, my brothers and sisters (and non-binary individuals)! Here be the place to discuss all things orchestra! Go nuts people. Talk cinema, classical, hella rad video games...if it has orchestral music, or has been reorchestrated, let's scream words at each other and boogie down to some Beethoven together.
* Please note that you couldn't quite classify most Pokémon music as orchestral, but discussing video game music that is / has been reorchestrated is totally up for talking about.
* Asterisk are fun so here's another one.

I want to sling something out for this topic, as it's reminded me of something I've been thinking about recently: Chiptune/8-Bit Orchestrals. What do you all think of it? Do you count it as an orchestral? I thought this would be a neat little thing to bring up, as I've found it often leads to very unique conversations and perspectives. it's also a curveball that people don't often see coming :^)

Personally, I am a huge fan of orchestra used with other genres, industrial orchestra being one of my favourites. Chiptune orchestra sounds like it could be interesting!
The only group I follow that deals with it exclusively is a Touhou arrange artist called "Tutti Sound", and a lot of their best work has come out in the past few years
