I am still struggling about this character.
I mean, isn't the references she makes to PMD obvious? Why don't people say that? They just say something about other universes, when PMD has already created one.
I would write more, but I'm gonna go to bed. Might as well see where this goes anyway..

I think they were referring to Hoenn from Gen3 mainly, but possibly to the PMD universe as well.
Not a lot about Zinnia has been explained really. Just like AZ.

Although wasn't there an implication that Zinnia was a direct descendant of AZ? And yes, the "parallel universe" was talking about the Hoenn from 2002 being a parallel dimension to the Hoenn from 2014.

Zinnia's like: WE CAN'T USE THAT MACHINE BECAUSE THAT OTHER WORLD DOESN'T HAVE IT >> logically then, she suggests an idea that both worlds can do >> idea is blowing up meteor with raquaza to find deoxys >>thus, both worlds can blow up a meteor with raquaza >>PMD 1 storyline: world where they blow up meteor with raquaza to find deoxys
other world must be PMD

What I find interesting is that they called the machine the Link Cable like the cable used in Gen 1.

I once thought Zinnia IS the main character of PMD - Why does she care so much for this other world? How did she know about a meteor in the other world?
- If she lived in it, she would have a strong passion to save it
- She would know about meteor
- She said something about returning to something
- I didn't quite remember this well, so don't kill me if this entire fact is wrong
- Return to pokemon world would be logical answer.
- Why that animalistic battle pose??
- One possible idea is gamefreak's definition of character
- another possibility is that she was used to being a pokemon.

I don't remember it if they linked AZ to Zinnia.. And yea, they tied a bunch of loose ends with pokemon technology in that game XD Plus, the link cable is actually an item in PMD to evolve some pokemon! My favorite part of the ORAS post-game mystery is how you find Looker washed up on a beach, with amnesia! Sounds familiar ? And there's even more. He actually says he had a mission, but he can't remember what it was. That coupled with all the little PMD references surely can't be only a coincidence? It could work, but Zinnia has a Granny in meteor falls. And who the heck is actually Aster ? Its not that wishmur, because she refers to someone she's missing, yet she keeps interacting all the time with the wishmur. Weirdly, Aster are the first few letters of asteroid..

I never realized how closely Looker's amnesia parallels with PMD lore...time will only tell when we get a new PMD game to see if they're related. I do know that Game Theories did a blow-your-mind theory on the whole parallel dimensions thing.

I didn't even think about the looker parallel. Wow. Game theory was like "Oh, this needs another dimension!" and I lost them there.
That's why all I could come up with was that she IS the main character of PMD1, and that the main character has traveled between worlds, once, leaving for the opportunity to try saving the world again.
However, a new PMD game cannot start until next year (maybe), as Etrian Mystery Dungeon is being worked on.
