Hey, awesome, I'd love to take a look at these later! Thanks for taking the time to get them exported, I haven't been able to find any halfway decent samples in the past from the games.

That's just the utility to extract the samples though. Not the samples themselves. To get the samples, you need to extract the rom, and then drag and drop the "bgm" / "bgm.swd" file onto the utility I posted. Here's a little walkthrough: 1. Get dslazy : www.romhacking.net/utilities/793/2. Extract it somewhere. Start dslazy.exe. Press the "..." button on the left of the white box/bar, and pick the explorers or sky/time/darkness rom. 3. Click on the "nds unpack" button.( the one with the hand saw on it) 4. When its done, it will open a new window that shows the files it extracted from the rom. From that window navigate into the following folders : data->SOUND->BGM 5. Drag-and-drop the file named "bgm" or "bgm.swd" onto the utility I made : projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?40199-Pokemon-Mystery-Dungeon-2-Psy_commando-s-Tools-and-research-notes&p=205213&viewfull=1#post205213It will open a console window and do its thing. If all goes well, a lot of numbered ".wav" files should have been created into the same folder as the "bgm" or "bgm.swd" file. Those are all the samples the game has in its "soundfont". And that's it !

Alright, so I got all of them extracted, and put them in a zip file : www.filedropper.com/samplespmd2 (Damn you filedropper !) New link : anonfiles.com/file/099729a9ebf32bbab8890d34b26bbc87 (The name of the zip is scrambled though, but at least that's going to help a bit I guess..) This contains 4 folders. - bgm is the content of the main "soundfont" used for the music - me is the content of the "soundfont" for the jingles - motion is the content of the "soundfont" for move sound effects. - swds is all the samples in the swds folder in the game. They're just sound effects used at various points in the game for the most part. I tried identifying the instrument samples, but I gave up midway.. There are a lot of instruments that I don't know the exact name of in English, and I didn't feel like doing some research, so I just didn't name those XD
