I have a concern regarding my DAW project. I just recently finished remixing Sunken Frigate from Metroid Prime and exported the project as an mp3 and wav file. Once it was done rendering, I listened to the files to make sure everything checks out. As the subject line says, my ears were greeted with a most disturbing sound. One of the tracks in the project played back warped and distorted. It literally sounds like a more screwed up version of the Giygas battle theme from Earthbound. It didn't really help that it was 2 in the morning when I listened to it. I'm not sure what went wrong. Has anyone else had this issue before? How can I fix this?
