This is where I, at least in theory, will post any Pokémon-related remixed/medleyed/etc. stuff that I do.
Feel free to provide constructive feedback (or shameless praise, or harsh criticism) on anything, preferably by private message!
(also my Soundcloud has a bunch of old original stuff on it I've been meaning to redo better from scratch because other than the top few, I lost the source files a long time ago and didn't have a good program to work with back then, so ignore that for now unless you feel like otherwise.)
---
And so I don't clutter up the boards without something to show for it, here's my first track that I feel is complete enough to warrant putting up. Based off tracks from Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon that just seem to go super well together.

That's pretty nice ! It ended right before my favorite part of relic forest though But you're right that the personality music fits pretty with that! (In fact I wonder if it couldn't end up being the new Guile's theme )

I originally had a start on that section in question, but the key change was a bit rough to deal with, since that part doesn't fit as well with Personality Test. But I may try to get it to work and re-upload, then.

No problems! And that could be interesting But if its too much of a stretch to make it fit, maybe you could slip in another PMD track at that point ? The main theme of pmd2 for example has been adapted so much during the whole game that there's probably something to do with that. But I don't know enough about all that stuff to really suggest anything seriously XD

Here's another one! And you've probably heard it remixed to death, but they're both such great themes and are so perfect for each other that I simply had to. <_<
Technically this could qualify as my "first Pokémon remix" since I've had it mostly done for a while (before I even started that one in the first post), but there've been a few niggling issues I didn't really know how to improve upon, since I don't listen to much of the more synthy genres. I think it's good enough to put out there, but please let me know if you have any constructive feedback!
https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/191385388 (first two-thirds are pretty much just re-hashing the original tracks; if you want to skip to the part where they're actually mashed-up go from 2:40 on)

I like it. Though, in my relatively uninformed listener opinion, it sounds less tense and catchy than the original. And maybe a little too "relaxed"/slow.(I don't want to say dull, because its not really the case. There's a lot going on, but it just feels a little disappointing on certain beats.(I'd use the word upbeat or downbeat, but I mix them up all the time..) ) Not sure how to say it.. My guts tell me it has something to do with the drums somehow, but my ears don't seem to agree XD Also at 1:14 in your remix, around where in the original the strings and the horn kick in and begin playing the chorus, and that's just my own opinion, but for some reason I feel like there should be a different sounding instrument kicking in. Idk, maybe its because having the strings and horn coming in at that point accentuate the contrast between the two parts in the original, but if feels a little odd hearing the same part without the instrument changing there. Sorry if its not that helpful ^^;
