I know that making original music and remixes is pretty much the main focus of this forum. But have any of you ever just played around with Audacity or something, doing all kinds of changes with existing music? Once, I took a collaboration Larx and I made and completely reversed it using Audacity. I managed to get this gem of weirdness: Reversed The funny thing is that I'm sure someone could take the reversed track and turn it into its own song somehow. And then there's this website I found a while ago, The Wub Machine, that pretty much thrives on altering songs into different forms (if you can call it that). Most of my songs don't play well with this site, but I do have one that ended up being turned into something at least moderately decent. Twice, even. "Dubstep Wub" and "DnB Wub". Please note that I said it was moderately decent. Am I the only one who does stuff like this? If I'm not, share your random things!

Reversing music is possible with any DAW too, not just with Audacity. Anyways, I don't know if I do much music alterations, except if random mashups can be considered as that. I feel like there isn't really any need to alter excisting songs otherwise.

I didn't say there was a need. It's just playing around. Like the song I reversed. I was bored one day and decided to see what it'd sound like. Mashups probably would count.

Oh, I ran this through The Wub Machine awhile ago. Thought it sounded pretty cool.
